Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) Programme Graduate Entry scholarships – 2018.
We are excited to announce that the University of Auckland is offering a significant tuition fees scholarship to
attract graduate entry international applicants into Year Two of the Medical Programme here at Auckland in 2018.
The NZ$70,000 MBChB Graduate Entry – International Student Scholarship will support the tuition fees for up to five international graduate entry medical students enrolling in full-time study.

These scholarships are available only for Semester One 2018 intake. The scholarships will be awarded by
nomination after the programme applications close on December 1 2017.
This scholarship is awarded by nomination. No application form is needed for the MBChB Graduate Entry
International Student Scholarship.
Apply for the Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery as a Graduate Entry International applicant. Up to five
scholarships will be awarded by nomination, on the basis of Grade Point Equivalent (GPE) after the programme
MBChB Graduate Entry – International Student Scholarships
Each scholarship is worth up to NZ$70,000 in total, NZ$30,000 for the first year of enrolment (Year Two MBChB)
and NZ$10,000 for subsequent years (Year Three to Year Six) for new graduate entry international students
applying to the medical programme at Auckland.
This new scholarship shows the commitment and desire from both the Faculty and the University of Auckland to
attract and support high calibre graduate entry international students into the medical programme.

International Student Scholarships
New full-fee paying international students undertaking a PGDip or Masters (taught) of 120 points or more or an
undergraduate degree (with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications)
Closing date : 21 November (Semester One intake) and 4 May (Semester Two intake)
Value : Up to $10,000 for both postgraduate study and undergraduate study
